Southampton Teachers Association Retirees
The organizing committee of STAR (Southampton Teachers Association Retirees) will be having its first meeting as a newly-formed chapter of the NYSUT (New York State United Teachers) union.
The agenda for this upcoming spring meeting is as follows:
We are beginning to collect the your $15 annual dues. $5 of these dues goes to Chapter 22 of NYSUT, the remaining balance will be used for association expenses.

We now have 88 active members and 20 Friends of STAR which include retirees who worked in our district but weren't part of the STA, they can attend all of our social functions but are not voting members.
